
Bruce Henderson - Designer and producer for video, print publications and the World Wide Web
Bruce Henderson has 30 years of experience as a designer and producer for video, print publications and the World Wide Web.
Bruce published the first Web newspaper in Colorado in April of 1994 when there were fewer than 100 newspapers on the Web.
As an associate professor at the University of Colorado, Bruce pioneered the integration of technology with teaching. He received a CU systemwide President's Faculty Excellence Award for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Technology.
His funded creative works involved the Virtual Chautauqua project, which featured more than 100 juried Colorado performance artists on the Web in both text and video; he also created a Virtual Poetry in Residence program to link Colorado poets to high school students in underserved areas of the state.
Bruce currently is communications coordinator for the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado. The institute is dedicated to fostering innovative teaching and learning through technology.
