Barbara Brannen - President and CEO of Playmore - Motivational Speaker and Leadership Expert

Barbara Brannen is a motivational speaker and leadership expert who has changed the lives and the businesses of literally thousands of people.

As the President and CEO of Playmore, she is devoted to people and the strategies in companies that will maximize the work experience for the individual thus creating a bottom line impact for the organization. The work of Playmore is designed to increase cooperation, creativity and energy in individuals and teams while putting more black ink on the bottom line.

In her other life, Barbara is a Human Resources Executive with over 30 years of experience. She has served as Vice-President and a member of the executive team for such organizations as Qwest Communications, Rose Medical Center, AON/Innovative Services of America and the University of Denver. Barbara has also provided consulting/coaching/leadership services for Saunders Construction, Cochlear, MarkWest Energy, KPA, Ludvik Electric, Chuck Latham Associates, Clear Vision Laser Centers, Dingo, Wispertel, Milgard Manufacturing, Women in Government, State Farm Insurance, Coors, The Environmental Protection Agency, and many more satisfied clients.

Barbara has been recognized as the Human Resource Professional of the Year in 1990 by the Colorado Human Resources Association and was named as an Outstanding Woman in Business in Human Resources for 2002 by the Denver Business Journal. Barbara passed the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 1990.

Barbara’s books include, Office Peace – Your Guide to a More Respectful and Productive Work Environment and the book, The Gift of Play. Her newest book is due out in 2007. Barbara is a member of the National Speakers Association.
