Dane Coyer - Former VP of IBM, President and Chief Operating Officer, Wavestate Inc.
Dane C. Coyer has 25 years experience in information technology system development, operations and sales executive management. He has a blend of large company and start-up experience in high-tech enterprises.
As SVP of Sales and Field Operations of Systems Research & Development, Dane was responsible for building a direct sales and professional services organization from scratch. Sales grew six fold under his tenure from 2002 to 2004. SRD was successfully sold to IBM where he held an executive management position responsible for 100M in revenue In 1999, Dane led a team at IBM that won and delivered the largest telemedicine/teleradiology system ever procured by the US government. He was cofounder of eConvergent, a start-up in the CRM space, where he helped to raise over $70 million in investment funds through venture capital and bank loans. Previous employment includes executive management positions for IBM Corporation, Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation, and Lockheed Martin/Loral.
Dane graduated cum laude from SUNY Oswego and earned a Masters in Computer Systems and an MBA from University of Denver.
