Juan Marcos Gutierrez Gonzalez is the Consulate General of Mexico. He is a former congressman who started in this position in March of 2004.
As consul general - a Mexican-government appointed position - Gutierrez is the local liaison between the Mexican and U.S. governments and between Mexican nationals in the eight-state region and the Mexican government.
Among other services, the consulate offers legal advice to nationals and issues passports, matricula consular identifications and birth certificates.
