Ron Bills - Former CEO of Segway LLC
Ron Bills was most recently President and Chief Executive Officer of Segway LLC, and was responsible for leading the company on its mission to develop and market fun, smart transportation solutions. As president and CEO he also served as a member of the Segway Board of Directors. During his tenure Ron set forth a mission for Segway to build a dominant brand with industry-leading quality, styling and distribution; and to expand their innovative product portfolio to position them for the future.
Ron spent the last 13 years in the consumer durables industry where he led major business units for Bombardier, Yamaha and most recently Polaris Industries. At these organizations he honed his expertise in managing start-up companies and developing business growth initiatives in the consumer durable market segments. Ron has broad range of business leadership experience in distribution channel management, marketing, customer service, government relations, intellectual property, engineering, product development, manufacturing and finance.
Ron has degrees in Engineering & Business and began his career as an Engineer in the Aerospace industry with Martin Marietta Aerospace.
