Jim Carter - Co-founder of Carter Design, Inc.

Jim is a co-founder of Carter Design, Inc. and has served as President since the firm’s inception in 1987. He has over 26 years of professional experience in the design field. Prior to co-founding Carter Design, Jim was a Senior Designer with a national corporate identification firm and was an in-house industrial designer for a Colorado based manufacturer of CAD/CAM equipment.
 
Jim’s responsibilities include heading up Carter Design’s Industrial Design department, as well as corporate responsibilities such as new business development, planning and personnel. His expertise includes the design and development of new products for domestic and international markets. This includes research, concept development, design detailing and manufacturing supervision to help clients successfully take raw ideas into polished form with products that are aesthetically pleasing, ergonomically correct and profitable to build.
