Michael Butler
Mike Butler has been the Chief of Police in Longmont since 1994. He came to this position by way of the Boulder Police Department where he worked for 16 years.
Prior to his police work, Mike worked for the FBI in Washington D.C. for 5 1/2 years. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and a graduate of the FBI’s National Academy.
He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Police Executive Research Forum, and National Police Futurists.
