Roger C. Adams is an attorney and the founder and CEO of JumpStart Settlement Inc. He moved to Denver in 1995 from Paris, France where he worked for seven years as International Counsel for the largest industrial group in France with petroleum, chemicals and pharmaceutical operations around the world. He is experienced in a wide range of business transactions including the purchase and sale of companies, venture capital financings, private placements, initial public offerings, business plan development, joint ventures, distributor agreements, technology licensing, partnerships and limited liability companies.
Mr. Adams worked for a prominent law firm in New York City from 1977 to 1983. From 1983 to1988 he served as Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel for a Fortune 200 company based in New York City where he was lead counsel on many large commercial transactions. During his tenure as in-house counsel for companies in Paris and New York, Mr. Adams managed multiple outside law firms and developed a broad knowledge of cost-effective legal services.
Mr. Adams started his career in litigation as law clerk to a Federal Judge. He has a long track record of resolving adversarial matters through mediation and the art of compromise.
Mr. Adams also worked for the U.S. Government as counsel to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. He has extensive European business experience and is fluent in French.
Mr. Adams received his B.A. degree from Amherst College, magna cum laude, in history and European literature. He received his J.D. law degree from George Washington University and his advanced LLM degree in International Law from Columbia University. Mr. Adams is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Colorado.
