Named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for 2000, Jared Polis is a businessman and political activist who has founded, funded, and/or run several high-tech start-ups. From 1996 to 1999, he served as CEO of Bluemountain.com until its sale in 1999. He has also founded Proflowers.com, Dan's Chocolates, and Frogmagic.
A member of the Colorado chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and named one of the top ten young entrepreneurs by Success magazine, Mr. Polis continues to explore new frontiers in the business and education world. Jared Polis has a degree in Political Science from Princeton University.
