Jim Sears - Founder and CEO of SunSource Industries
Jim Sears is the Founder and CEO of SunSource Industries, a garage startup, that is now allied with Colorado State University and other partners to bring this technology into production.
Prior to launching SunSource Industries, Jim spent 15 years as President of Ascent Technology where he was awarded 4 patents and 6 SBIR grants for research on a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, optical, biologic, and human factors technologies. Previously he was engaged in developing new sensor technologies for aerospace and diving and mine countermeasure technologies for the NAVY.
