Jonathan Shuster - Software technologist, entrepreneur, and seasoned executive

A software technologist, entrepreneur, and seasoned executive, Jonathan ("Jono") Shuster has been involved in technology commercialization for over 27 years, particularly within the Federal government market. With experience in both industry and academia, his background includes both getting the business -- marketing, proposals, and contracts -- and doing the business --  contract management, project management, and dealing efficiently with the red tape.

Jono has managed proposal teams for competitive procurements as large as $10 million, and has managed engineering teams developing unique software systems to solve complex problems in industrial management, organizational development, and other areas. As president and co-founder of a software technology company, he funded product development through a mix of sales and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts.

Jono's passion is helping entrepreneurs succeed in taking innovative ideas and technologies to market. As Executive Director of the Entrepreneurial Standards Forum and as a member of the Business Catapult, he helps Colorado entrepreneurs understand and mitigate their entrepreneurial risks.
