Jim Pelichowski - Training in economics, business, accounting and software development, particularly the field of databases and web applications
Jim Pelichowski grew up in southern California. His original training was in economics, business, and accounting. His career quickly took him into software development, particularly the field of databases and web applications. His experience includes:
- In the last 24 months growing a software company from zero to now employing more than 10 people by using techniques that we'll be discussing in this Flight School workshop. This growth required no investment or investors.
- Time spent working for both large stable corporations (such as Boeing and Verifone/Hewlett Packard) as well as dynamic startups such as Buy.com.
- Financial success as a key player in a small private software consulting firms as well as a long “dry spell” during the 2002-2004 software industry slump.
- Additional entrepreneurial experience in helping wife Lynda’s pastry business and Meals Made Easy. While looking for his next software gig, Jim found and capitalized on a the idea of selling tools and training that help others create businesses similar to Meals Made Easy without needing to purchase a franchise. This has now turned into a full-time business with significant growth potential.
