Wayne Wiemerslage - Owner of the Wiemerslage Law Offices

Wayne Wiemerslage is owner of the Wiemerslage Law Offices and practices law along the Front Range.  The law firm’s legal practice emphasizes business formation, information technology, intellectual property, commercial practice and others. Wayne earned his law degree from the University of Illinois. In 1998 Mr. Wiemerslage became the lead information technology attorney for Marathon Oil Company, a Fortune 100 Company.  In that capacity, Mr. Wiemerslage drafted and negotiated software licenses, hardware purchases and leases, royalty agreements, professional services agreements, web licenses, etc., involving Dell Computer, IBM, Microsoft, SAP and many others. Wayne left Marathon in 2003 and opened his own law practice in Fort Collins.  He was elected to the Colorado Bar Association’s Technology Law and Policy Section Committee in 2005 and 2006 and has made presentations on drafting and negotiating Information Technology contracts as well as on business formation issues in seminars sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association, the Technology Roundtable and others.
