Inventors are the lifeblood of our country and economy. The strength of our nation has been due in large part to the ingenuity of inventors. They use their hands to fashion the components, their minds to create function and strategy, and their hearts to feed the passion that drives their work forward.
In tough economic times, inventors bring hope and inspiration to everyone they touch and have the potential to bring exciting new jobs along with them.The inventions being unveiled at this event are a powerful force. In fact, our future is being created inside the minds of these inventors. They live a life of passion and dreams, driven by a desire to make our world a better place.
The 8th annual DaVinci Inventor Showcase is a rare opportunity to meet inventors, feel the intensity of their spirit, touch their creations, and experience the transformation as they step us from the here and now to a better tomorrow.

Featured Speaker – Teresa Stanek Rea
Teresa Stanek Rea is Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Rea oversees an office that encourages innovation and technological advancement, and helps businesses protect their investments, promote their goods and safeguard against deception in the marketplace. Before joining USPTO in 2011, Ms. Rea was a leading attorney in the field of intellectual property with more than 25 years of legal experience and a past president of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Keynote Speakers – Oliver Kuttner and Ron Mathis
Edison2 Team - One hundred and eleven teams from around the world entered the 100 Mile per Gallon Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize in 2008, and in September 2010 Edison2 was awarded the top prize, winning the Mainstream class and with it $5 million.
At the heart of this innovative team were Oliver Kuttner, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, a commercial real estate developer who was pivotal in revitalizing Charlottesville, Virginia’s downtown, and Ron Mathis, Chief of Design, and mechanical engineer with nearly three decades of experience in professional motor racing working on flagship projects for Audi, Jaguar, and Dodge.

This year we are happy to announce that the DaVinci Inventor Showcase will be at the Denver Merchandise Mart in the Plaza at the Mart section. The Denver Merchandise Mart is conveniently located at 451 E 58th Ave, Denver, CO 80216 and offers FREE parking and convenient access to I-25 plus an increased amount of space for more inventor’s exhibits and vendors.
This year we are once again offering 6′ and 10′ exhibitor and vendor booths. Exhibitor booths are primarily reserved for INVENTORS. As an exhibiting inventor you will be expected to have a specific invention on display to be judged. Vendor booths are reserved for companies that have products they wish to sell or services that appeal to the inventor community. Also new this year is the 4′ Non Profit info table.
