The Future of Beer
It is widely believed that people have been drinking beer for at least 12,000 years. Some ancient cultures are said to have used beer as a staple in their diets, using the magic elixir in place of bread.
Here in Colorado, we are at the forefront of the most recent beer renaissance, with our craft breweries making some of the finest ales in the world. We are also privy to the newest types of beer, technologically advanced brewing methods, and a robust brew-pub culture that impacts all walks of life.
Join us for a rousing discussion on the future of beer. Our speakers are the pioneers of the new beer renaissance in Colorado, and they will be bringing samples for the audience to enjoy.

SPEAKER: Marty Jones
Chief promoter, media tickler and mojo developer for Wynkoop Brewing Company
Since late 2009, Marty Jones has helped Denver's Wynkoop Brewery reclaim its pioneering status in the Colorado beer market. Prior to joining Wynkoop, Jones was one of the founders of Oskar Blues Brewery’s micro canning effort; his promotional efforts helped transform the little-known brewpub into one of the most recognized and fastest-growing craft brewers in the United States. A working musician, Jones considers craft brewing a life-enriching cause as powerful as music, democracy and the Golden Rule. Jones lives in downtown Denver with his dream wife, Lisa.
