“The Comeback Coach” and co-host of KUSA-TV’s “Colorado and Company”

 

Known as “The Comeback Coach” Mark McIntosh entertains and inspires audiences of all kinds and ages with his inspirational keynote presentations, books and workshops encouraging others to “run to daylight and play like a champion” despite life’s challenges.

The father of two shares simple but effective strategies learned from his life challenges with debilitating injury, painful divorces and corporate restructuring that have forced him, at many stages of life, to effectively deal with change, challenges and adversity.

In addition to his professional speaking, writing and coaching, McIntosh is currently co-host of KUSA-TV’s “Colorado and Company.” Prior to that, for 21 years McIntosh was a sportscaster, the final 18 years at KCNC-TV where he won “Westword’s” Best Sport Anchor in 2003.

Finally, the Missouri native, a former three-sport high school All American, just released his third motivational book, “Lemons into Margaritas” that is available, along with his first two books, at his website, www.heycomebackcoach.com.

Mike Cote is the Editor of ColoradoBiz Magazine. He has spent more than 20 years in the media industry as a reporter and editor at newspapers in Florida and Colorado, and now at ColoradoBiz magazine in the metro Denver area. He has also taught reporting and editing at the University of Colorado, where he earned his master's degree in journalism.

Before joining the team at ColoradoBiz, Mike served as both the City Editor and the Business Editor at the Boulder Daily Camera.

Partner & COO at Catapult Growth Partners, LLC

Dave Johnson is a co-founder of Catapult Growth partners and has 30 years of management experience from companies such as KPMG, Sprint, Bank of America, Sony, Sodak Gaming, Evolving Systems and Encorp. He has served in roles as CEO and CFO at both publicly traded and privately owned companies. Early in his career he held staff positions in auditing, finance, IT, operations and sales. His industry experience includes software, renewable energy, professional services, banking, high tech manufacturing and engineering.

Dave has experienced high growth environments and turn-around situations. He was part of the founding team at Sprint, was an active team member in building two companies from early stage through IPO, provided senior level management participation in the turnaround of Sodak Gaming and Evolving Systems where shareholder value increased over $1.5 billion. He is known for his unique talent of forming strategic plans and successful implementation steps that actually come to fruition. This is accomplished through hands-on technical skills and collaborative leadership producing focused teams hitting measurable goals on time.

Dave brings substantial academic background in addition to 30 years of industry experience. He holds a BA-Accounting (with Electrical Engineering minor) from the University of Washington, an MBA-Finance from the University of California-Berkeley, an MPA-Organization Behavior from the University of Southern California, a PhD (ABD)-Public Finance from the University of Southern California and is also a licensed CPA in Washington.

Jon has 30 years of experience in marketing and product management, and general management, in consumer products and technology businesses. Jon has been an executive at large as well as young organizations.   During the past 4+ years he has been Chief Marketing Officer at Cocona, Inc., a developer and marketer of innovative fabric technologies.  There, he took a unique, excellent-performing technology out of R&D, positioned it, branded it, created a successful market penetration strategy focused on the best brands and provided them with global marketing support.  As a result, Cocona is considered by many to be one of the most successful new, value-added technologies to be launched in the textile industry in decades. 

Jon was president and CEO at Outlast Technologies where he and his team successfully developed a young business into a commercial success and raised venture capital for growth. 

Jon’s prior career experiences also include leading the team that launched Coors Light beer, and brand management at Clorox/P&G and Colgate-Palmolive. 

Jon has been on the board of directors for Outlast Technologies, e*town, 5430 Sports and has served as an advisor to CTEK and participating entrepreneurs. 

Jon has recently formed GoFarFast, LLC, a Boulder-based consulting firm that focuses on commercialization of new technologies, strategic positioning of new brands, restoration of revenue and profit growth to stagnant brands or businesses, development and execution of strategic marketing and sales plans that cost-effectively utilizes the best means to generate business, and creation of comprehensive marketing campaigns

Mike Faber is a speaker, trainer and certified professional coach who has taught thousands of business leaders to communicate passionately and effectively.  Mike brings the lessons of a 30-year career in sales, management and broadcasting to audiences in a unique style that combines humor, candor, and lessons that can be applied to all walks of life.
