Finding funding in a down economy is never easy, but is particularily difficult if you show up unprepared. It is critical to have proper documentation and legal framework in place.

This event is designed to prepare attendees by taking them through a hands-on working session to cover the documentation and legal instruments needed to raise seed capital. Creating these documents is far easier than it sounds and will add the necessary level of sophistication to your investment pitch that prospective investors will appreciate.

These documents can make the critical difference between "yes" and "no" the next time you meet with an investor.

Seed Capital - Seed capital is the money needed in the early part of the business life cycle to get started and reach critical momentum.  It is a high risk to the investor and expensive money to the business.  However, seed capital may be the key ingredient in your recipe for success – the difference between an idea and a business.

Document Development – This workshop is an entry-level course on developing your capital campaign strategy (no prerequisite required).  In this workshop we will work on the following documents:

Development of these needed documents was presented in a practical, realistic and proven capital raising methodology by Karl Dakin.
