We connect with each other every day through our phones, e-mail, face-to-face conversations, meetings and more. How often do these communications leave you with the nagging feeling that people are not engaged, important decisions are not being made, and nothing is really being accomplished?
Roughly 75 percent of the people with whom you communicate have basic communication and decision making styles different from yours. You can easily customize your approach to others to accommodate these differences. You achieve your goals much faster when people actually hear what you are saying.
The Management by Strengths Boot Camp is a teambuilding workshop that will help you quickly master the communication skills needed to accelerate collaboration, persuade more effectively, and bring out the best in others. Additionally, you will learn hands-on tools, techniques, and tactics to facilitate more effective teamwork.
Your basic communication style preferences will be identified prior to the workshop when you complete the Management By Strengths (MBS) survey. This is done online and takes less than 10 minutes.
During the interactive workshop you will develop a practical understanding of your MBS Profile Report and learn how to quickly apply outward focused skills to improve both professional and personal relationships.

Cate Lawrence is founder of Lawrence Research Associates, delivering proven team building tools to accelerate innovation and product development, and optimize workforce performance. She brings 20 years in business operations combined with a graduate degree in applied psychology to provide proactive training for immediate results. As founder and CEO of Warrior Solutions, a company making software tools for team leaders, her experience encompasses all aspects of operations, strategy, product management, financial analysis, business development, and public relations. Cate has built strategic partnerships with major high technology players to achieve substantial assistance for her software company’s marketing efforts.
Cate has specialized in new product development operations from drawing-board stage to mass production in heavy industry and Fortune 500 information technology companies. She holds a BA and MS from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Colorado Executive MBA Program, and CPIM (Association for Operations Management) and C.P.M. (Institute for Supply Management) certifications. She is certified to train the Management By Strengths program and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
