Scott Perlman, in his alter ego as The Mayor, has participated in five Burning Man events, and is an organizer of Apogaea, the Colorado regional burning man event which he’s participated in seven times.

In the default world, Scott is Co-Founder and COO of Think Like a Genius, LLC and Psi-Phi Technology Corporation, companies dedicated to empowering individuals, teams, and organizations by providing tools for self expression and creativity. The company’s latest offering is a software product that allows people to build three dimensional models to communicate ideas more effectively in social networking environments, virtual worlds, and, as an eventual 3-D successor to the two dimensional PowerPoint. The education he’s gained in the quasi-virtual world of Burning Man has been invaluable in building a company along these lines…and a life that transcends the lines of the “default” society.
